Become a CUE Artist

Use your artwork to support the causes you're passionate about.

Creating United Empowerment is a curated gallery, which means that all incoming artists are first reviewed by our Executive Director before they can sell their work on the site. We take care of all of the transactions, taxes, marketing, and customer services in order to allow our artists to focus on what they do best – create exceptional art!

What does it mean to be a CUE artist?

  1. You get to use your talents as a way to donate money to nonprofits that support survivors or sexual/domestic violence, LGBTQIA+ women, and women of ethnic/racial minorities. Our 2018 charity partner is Women Against Abuse.
  2. You join a community of women and genderqueer artists that are here to support and learn from each other. We pride ourselves on building personal relationships with each of our artists. We don't just promote the work that has been submitted to CUE, we share personal/professional achievements (i.e., residencies, grants, press releases, gallery shows) and we give you a platform to promote your work through social media takeovers.
  3. We don’t require exclusivity so you can still be represented by galleries elsewhere.

40% of the sales are donated to our charity partner; 25% goes back to you; and 35% comes back to us to cover operational costs, marketing, and investing in the growth of our organization. In order to save shipping costs and allow artists to print on-demand, artists ship from own homes. However, our team is here to provide support with shipping and logisitical matters. Read our FAQs.

Use the forms below to submit work! You many submit as many pieces as you like in any visual medium, including digital work that can be downloaded. We ship physical items all over the country, so please keep size in mind.
